Hey, I’m Vishakha.
I am a graduate with a degree in BSc Psychology and Language Sciences from University College London, and am on the lookout to explore career pathways as I learn to adapt the skills I have learnt from my degree and past internships to the real world.
Having lived in Europe and several parts of Asia, I would say I am a culturally sensitive individual who understands how to adapt to the environment I am placed in. I am a creative person who is always on the lookout for new challenges. I enjoy finding different approaches to problem-solving, and hope to apply my analytical and technical skills I learn along the way to any tasks I may encounter.

Over the past few years I have developed a website to showcase and sell my artwork. Each piece has both a surface level image, and a deeper psychological meaning. 25% of the earnings made from sales go to two charities in Singapore that I have been passionate about since I was a child. Social Media Content
Since taking Media Studies as part of my GCSEs and A-Levels, I have developed a passion for creating several different types of media. Over the past few years, I have improved my skills in Adobe Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro to assist my production of professional corporate material for internships, as well as for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube content - platforms which I am decidedly active on. I am a classically trained Hindustani Vocalist, and enjoy performing and volunteering in local community concerts and events. Having studied Psychology for over 7 years now, I aim to incorporate the skills and knowledge that I have learned into my other endeavours - this includes my artwork, essays, and communication with others. A long time passion of mine. Although I am an admirer of realism, the aim of my artwork is to provoke conversations, and think of the deeper meaning behind some of the messages I paint. I am working with a non-profit organisation that provides support to corporate business and other volunteers by connecting them with our ground-up and NGO partners.

Marketing Intern
I interned at a Private Real Estate firm for high-profile clients. I assisted by communicating with clients and producing marketing material, including shooting and editing on-site videos (Adobe Premiere Pro) of the properties for official use. I was able to gain valuable organizational skills.

Observational Placement
As part of the language sciences aspect of my course, I had a weekly placement at a local nursery to interact with children from the ages of 3-4 and observe cognitive and language development skills through communication and basic testing.

Psychology Intern
Assisted a Clinical Psychologist in creating and organising educational material for an Integrated Programme at NUHS for adolescents suffering from mental illnesses (IPMDA). Observed the interaction and therapy given to patients provided by a team of experts.

YouTube - Using YouTube has allowed me to practice my editing skills and attempt art challenges.
Premiere Pro Creations/Videos - A collection of some of the videos I have made for several different home projects, as well as for professional businesses such as Brilliance Capital Pte Ltd - a private real estate firm for high net-worth individuals.
Psychology - Some of my past essays (including my university dissertation) that are focused on topics that I have developed a passion for in the realm of Psychology. These also allowed me to enhance my technical skills of coding (R Studio), data analysis and data visualisation.
TikTok - My TikTok allows me to take part in trends, showcase my artwork, my singing, and document trips.
